This Privacy Policy describes how Floristly ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use the Floristly platform at floristly.app.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data with transparency and care.

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account Information — your name, email address, and profile details provided during registration.
• Location Data — approximate location based on your IP address, used for language preferences and connecting you with nearby florists.
• Payment Information — payment details necessary to process transactions (collected and stored by our payment processor, not directly by Floristly).
• Usage Data — information about how you interact with the Platform, including pages visited, features used, and session duration.
• Uploaded Content — photos, descriptions, reviews, and other content you choose to upload to the Platform.

3. How We Use Data

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate the Platform, including matching Buyers with Florists and facilitating subscriptions.
• Communicate with you about your account, subscriptions, deliveries, and Platform updates.
• Improve the Platform by analyzing usage patterns and user feedback.
• Ensure the security and integrity of the Platform.
• Comply with legal obligations.

4. Data Sharing

We share your information only as necessary to provide the service:

• Between Buyers and Florists. When you subscribe to a Florist, they receive the information needed to fulfill your subscription (name, delivery address, preferences). Similarly, Buyers can see Florist profile information.
• Service Providers. We share data with third-party services that help us operate the Platform (see Section 9).
• Legal Requirements. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. GeoIP

We use GeoIP technology to detect your approximate geographic location based on your IP address. This information is used solely for:

• Determining your preferred language for the Platform interface.
• Showing you florists available in your general area.

We do not store precise geolocation data. The location data derived from GeoIP is approximate (city or region level) and is not linked to your identity.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies necessary for the Platform to function properly:

• Session Cookies — used to maintain your authenticated session and keep you logged in.
• Preference Cookies — used to remember your language and display preferences.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We do not use any third-party analytics that set cookies.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you choose to delete your account:

• Your personal information will be permanently deleted or anonymized within 30 days.
• Content you posted (reviews, messages) will be anonymized but may remain on the Platform.
• Transaction records may be retained as required by applicable financial regulations.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion — request deletion of your account and personal data.
• Data Export — request a machine-readable export of your personal data.

9. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the Platform:

• Resend — for sending transactional emails (account verification, subscription notifications).
• Telegram — for optional delivery notifications and alerts, if you choose to link your Telegram account.
• MinIO — for secure storage of uploaded files such as portfolio images.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

10. Children

The Platform is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a person under 18, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

11. Changes to Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you via email or through the Platform.

Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
